Welcome to MyInternship (“we,” “us,” “our”), a mobile application designed to connect university students in Kenya with internship opportunities offered by universities and external companies.

1. Eligibility

MyInternship is available exclusively to students who:

- Are currently enrolled in a recognized university or institution in Kenya.

- Have received an activation code from their university to access the platform.

University staff and company representatives do not register on this app and instead interact via the connected MyUniversity platform.

2. Account Registration and Access

Students must register with accurate personal and academic details and use a valid activation code provided by their university. Each user is responsible for keeping their login credentials secure. Access to MyInternship is personal and non-transferable.

3. Internship Listings

MyInternship provides listings posted by both universities and external companies. We do not guarantee the availability or accuracy of any listing and recommend students verify details directly with the source.

4. Messaging and Communication

The app includes chat functionality allowing students to:

- Message one another for networking or internship discussion.

- Receive messages from university staff related to opportunities, counseling, or scheduling.

5. Counseling and Scheduling

Students can book career counseling sessions directly through the app. The platform also integrates with Microsoft Teams, allowing scheduling of interviews and calendar management.

6. Camera Access

MyInternship may request access to your device's camera to:

- Capture your profile photo.

- Scan QR codes for seminar or event attendance tracking.

Camera access is strictly limited to these functionalities. Users can manage permissions at any time through their device settings.

7. Restrictions on Use

Users must not:

- Share false, misleading, or inappropriate content.

- Use the chat feature for harassment or spam.

- Attempt to access administrative features or modify the application’s code.

8. Limitation of Liability

MyInternship is a tool to support student career development and does not:

- Guarantee internships or interviews.

- Endorse or verify individual internship providers.

- Accept responsibility for interactions between students and third parties.

9. Updates and Modifications

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will notify users through the app or via email.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
